KS1 Teacher – Person Specification

You must be a positive KS1 Teacher who can hit the ground running, making an immediate impact to the lives of your students. You will have the ability to keep your students engaged at all times in class whilst maintaining the strict standards expected of any teacher at a high achieving school.

About the KS1 Teacher role

In this KS1 Teacher position you will be teaching one of the KS1 classes to be decided on each applicants strengths and experience, but no matter which year group you take on, your bright and airy classroom will be filled with the latest teaching resources to enhance the content and quality of your lessons. You will be supported throughout this KS1 Teacher role by a dedicated Teaching Assistant, they will ensure your classroom is fully stocked for the day’s lessons ahead.

Social Worker – Children/Young People and Families

Work with families, issue care proceedings and work with children up until permanence arrangements are in place.

Suitable candidates must be minimum two years post qualified and CVs must have clear evidence of previous experience.

You will be familiar with:

  • Court work
  • Child Protection
  • Children in Need Plans
  • Complex safeguarding
  • The ability to work seamlessly with partner agencies ensure clients can access the range of support they require
  • The ability to work positively with people with challenging or difficult behaviour

Essential Requirements:

  • HCPC registration
  • Social Work Degree or equivalent e.g. CQSW, DIPSW
  • Eligibility to work in the UK

To plan activities to be conducted with other colleagues.
