Due to sustained growth of our residential provision we are looking to employ a further three Residential Support Workers.
You will be provided with a weeks induction period where you will learn the day to day running of the home and complete shadow shifts alongside our Senior Management Team.
As a Residential Support Worker, we are looking for staff to support our Young People develop independent living skills and forge positive new pathways through life.
On placement our team supports Young People to develop the skills they need for future life. That’s why our team are empowered to offer a wide variety of activities on a regular basis
By the time each child leaves us, you will have done everything you can to help leave a lasting impression, giving them a new awareness of the circumstances they joined us from and a renewed sense of self-belief as they move toward a better tomorrow.
The great thing is, even though this is a round-the-clock, sleep-in role and you’re not the kind of person whose empathy switches off when the clock strikes midnight, you’ll nevertheless be on a shift rota that ensures you have a well planned work life balance. Plus, there’ll be two of you working with one Young Person at any given time and we’ll give you all the training you need to really make that essential difference.
You’ll need to be happy to work towards a Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Children and Young People’s Workforce (or already have one), have a driving licence and the willingness to work early, late and night shifts. Above all, though, we really want to feel that passionate spirit for making a difference coming through.

The Registered Manager of our residential home for children and young people ensures that a high quality of care within the home is provided. To contribute to the protection and safeguarding of children at all times. To promote education, health and wellbeing of Children and Young People.

The manager must register with Ofsted and ‘pass’ the ‘Fit Person’ interview.
A Disclosure and Barring Service check at an Enhanced level is required.
